Great family owned taco spot. If you a local to Whittier, you know that this is one of many. Top (#2) imo. Always freshly made and quality ingredients just like from back home.

Best Mexican food in town. The gorditas, sopes, and tacos are delicious. We've tried the chicharron, asada, buche and birria. My favs were asada and chicharron. Good salsas. So many meat and food choices. Very limited sitting and literally a whole in the wall but so worth it

It's a small place. But dont judge a book by its cover. What it lacks in size, it makes up for when you take a bite of the food. It has one of the best chicharron tacos out there. They are spicy, though. If you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen. I've been coming here since the 90s when me and my friends would walk from school to spend our lunch money on some bomb tacos. The tacos are big, too. I like the asada myself. But everything is good and well made. They have bottled drinks there, but I still walk right next door to 7/11 and get my drinks there while my food is being made. The big wall mural of the pig seasoning the mustached chef in the giant pot is iconic! I love this place.

Some of the best food I've ever had. And the lady who works there is so nice. Last time I went I ordered nachos and she said they were out and I was sad but my bf still ordered food and she came out and said she made me chips and honestly they were the best nachos ever!

Really good Mexican food. The prices seem higher than others, but the portions and the amount of meat given is so much. It makes sense. The food is very good. The tacos are not your typical small, hand palm sizes, these are big with lots of meat. The burritos are typical burritos, but the meat makes it so much better. It's a independent small business, family owned. Cash only. Take out for sure. They put up a window menu signage. The photos are from Sunday, 02/28/2021. Prices are subject to change without notice, remember that. Once again, cash only, no plastic. If you need an atm, there is a 7/11 next door. Support local small business.
